Lange 1815 Moonphase(Emil Lange)

Not many individuals can take credit for advancing the art of precision watchmaking as passionately as Emil Lange. On the occasion of his 150th birthday in 1999, the masters at Lange created this magnum opus to pay tribute to a champion of horology.
 
그 어떤이보다 더 열정적으로 정치성(精緻性)을 예술적 수준까지 끌어올린 Emil Lange의 탄생 150주년을 기념하여 1999년 랑게의 마이스터들이 시계사에서 으뜸가는 걸작(magnum opus)을 만들었습니다. 

 

 

The | moon-phase display is computed so accurately that it deviates only one day from the true | synodic lunar orbit in 1000 years, provided the watch runs accurately and without interruption for that long. Because of this extreme precision, the display is not set to the correct date, but instead - with the help of an exact moon-age table - to the correct hour. Lange's watchmakers incorporated this amazing astronomical mechanism in a movement that is only 3.85 mm high and has a diameter of 27.5 mm.
 
문페이즈는 시계가 중단없이 계속 작동한다면 1000년에 하루만의 오차를 허용할만큼 정교하게 계산되어설계되었습니다. 보다 정밀한 달의 위상을 표현하기 위해서 정확한 moon-age table에 의해서 셋팅되어 출시된다고 합니다. 랑게의 시계사들은 이런 놀라운 천문 메카니즘을 불과 두께 3.85mm, 직경 27.5mm에 지나지 않는 무브먼트에 담았습니다.

 

 

The solid-silver dial of the horological treasure also deserves attention. Seven gold appliques represent the Big Dipper constellation. Mizar and Alcor are portrayed in the middle of the Big Dipper's handle. Because Alcor is so tiny, the ability to distinguish the two stars was held as a measure of good vision in medieval times. It is a charming detail, not readily visible to others, that delights every proud owner of this timepiece. The edition of the 1815 MOONPHASE was limited to 250 watches in pink gold and 150 in platinum. It was produced from 1999 to 2000.

7개의 금장 점으로 아플리케[꿰멘 장식]된 북두칠성 손잡이 가운데 중세시대에 시력검사로 이용된 큰곰자리인 미자르와 알코어가 자그맣게 식입되어있습니다. 비록 남들 눈에는 쉽게 띄지 않지만 소장인에게는 큰 기쁨이라 할 수 있습니다. 랑게 문페이즈 1815는 1999-2000년 동안 핑크골드 250점, 플래티넘 150점씩 각각 한정발매되었습니다.
