JLC에서 아주 새로운 타입의 크로노그래프 Duometre를 선보인다는 소식입니다.

 

 

요렇게 생긴 넘인데....

 

아직은 시계 사진만 발표되었네요....^^*

 

버튼은 하나 뿐인디(원버튼 크로노그래프?).... 바늘이 무지 많군요....^^ㅋ

 

크로노그래프(스플릿 세컨드?) 외에도 2 타임존 등 다른 기능들이 잔뜩 들어간 ㅎㄷㄷ 시리즈로 보입니다만....

간단히 요약하면....

 

보통의 크로노그래프들은 크로노그래프와 시간 표시가 연동하게 되어 크로노그래프 작동시 시간의 정확성이

 

감소하게 되는 데, 이를 해결하기 위해 각기 50 시간의 파워리저브를 가진 독립된 2 개의 배럴을 사용한 것이 특징이라고 합니다.

 

즉, 2개의 배럴을 사용하여, 각기 타임 표시와 크로노그래프 작동을 분리하므로써 크로노그래프의 작동에 따른

 

시간이 부정확해지는 것을 방지한 것입니다.

 

이것이 Duometre라는 이름의 설명인 듯합니다. 2 개의 배럴을 사용하는 크로노그래프...^^ㅋ

JLC have developed a completely new chronograph movement which maintains precise timekeeping irrespective of whether the chronograph is running. In a traditional mechanical chronograph the timekeeping and chronograph functions are linked and arguably activating the stopwatch can degrade the accuracy of the timekeeping. JLC have solved this by providing the watch with two separate barrels, each with a fifty hour power reserve and not linking the two functions of the watch. On a practical level I can't help but think that they have solved a problem that no one was concerned about, but this shouldn't detract from the technical achievement of producing such a movement. The layout of the dial, the way the time and chronograph information is presented and the design and finish of the case make this probably the best looking watch we are likely to see this year. It is fantastic and will appeal not only to those who collect chronographs, but to anyone wanting a really special watch. Prices start at £18,600 in pink gold, £19,300 in yellow (limited 300) and £30,400 (limited 200) for platinum.

 

 

다음은 올해 JLC에서 발표될 다른 시계에 대한 사진 없는 설명들입니다.

A platinum cased skeletonised perpetual calendar, limited to 100 pieces, with a blackened movement which requires 2 months of hand finishing. Has to be seen to be believed - an amazing looking watch. Retail £50,700.

Available in limited quantities of 200 in platinum at £41,870 and 300 pink gold at £31,800.

Simply an aesthetic evolution on this line with the addition of black PVD buttons. The pink gold case version of the Chrono GMTon a rubber strap is limited to 200 pieces and retails for £10,100 whilst the steel version, limited to 1,000 retails for £5,300. The Hometime version in pink gold (also ltd to 200) retails for £8,800 and the steel (ltd 1,000) for £3,900. Available from June these are very commercial lines.

Continuing the link with Aston Martin, JLC will launch the DBS version of the chronograph in September 2007. 200 pieces are available in pink gold at £13,200 and 999 will be made in titanium at £8,700. In both cases the dial has been opened up to show more of the movement.

Taking inspiration from the metal bellows found in the Atmos clock JLC have created a 300m diving watch with an 80M mechanical depth gauge and a world time function in a titanium case. Its a terrific sports watch, available on a titanium bracelet at £12,500 or an articulated rubber bracelet at £12,000.

Available in a limited edition of 1000 in titanium at £5,100 or in steel at £4,400 as a regular production model.

Available in a limited edition of 300 in pink gold on an articulated rubber bracelet £11,200, or in titanium at £5,800 on an articulated bracelet or £5,100 on a standard rubber bracelet.

Similar in styling to the Extreme Chronograph, but offering alarm and world time functions, this model retails for £6,600 and features a red button at 10 o'clock.

Available as a limited edition of 300 in rose gold with a diamond set bezel for £8,250 or in steel at £3,600.

Similarly styled to the above, but with a chronograph movement housed in a steel case retailing for £4,950.

Master Compressor Valentino Rossi Extreme World Alarm 2007

A limited edition Master Compressor Extreme World Alarm available in rose gold and titanium at £12,800 (ltd 246) and titanium for £7,800 (ltd 946).

Another limited edition - this time the chronograph in steel, limited to 746 and retailing for £5,100
